Those are nice fish -- congrats! Still 64 days away from bass season being open here in MN...not that I'm counting.

Ok, so water temp. was 51 and water was mildly stained. Caught some pitching a 3/8 ounce flippin jig in green pumpkin color with a Okeechobee craw paca chunk trailer into chunk rock and wood cover on steep banks. Others came fishing a river channel ledge and large flat using lippless crankbaits,( Strikeking red eye shad in sexy shad) and sencos, ( babybass and smokey shad colors). Totaled 18 bass between three of us.

Bcklash, It's a great bass fishery this time of year. The river produces a lot of big bass because everyone is afraid to eat the fish due to mercury levels in the water. If you are ever in the area between the months of March and May I highly suggest making this a stop. I'd be happy to take you on my boat.
