looks good.... wishin we had some smallies this far south, would make the winter fishing here better when the FL strain LMB refuse to move or bite for 3-6 months of the year.

lake james in the mountains 2.5 hours due west. nebo exit off I-40w head for the state park use the channal ramp..don't worry the end of that ramp is in 50 feet of water.. top water early. then switch to a shakey head -average clarity is 30+ feet.. proof nc has big smallies.. ![]() zooker

i have caught them in 110 feet of water on a popper..disapointment city if you go and try catching bass in the linville side...catawba side is the best bet..
