In the other burger thread, Waffle inspired me, with his talk about egg-on-a-burger at Red Robin.
Took me a few days to get around to it, but better late than never, my probation officer used to say. ![]() Most won't need a play by play, but just in case someone does, here goes. 1- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Once heated, turn the grill on high and throw the bacon in the oven for 15 minutes. 2- When 15 minutes are up, throw burger pattie on the grill and a hash brown pattie in the oven. Set timer for 5. 3- When 5 minutes are up, flip hash brown and burger patties. Remove bacon from oven to drain on paper towels. Crack egg into frying pan. Set timer for 4 minutes. 4- When 4 minutes are up, add sharp cheddar to burger pattie and season egg with Frank's Red Hot Chile 'n Lime. Cook everything 1 more minute. When time's up, remove all ingredients from heat. Place burger on onion bun Add bacon. Add hash brown pattie and season with salt and pepper. Add another slice of sharp cheddar. Add egg. Top with mustard. Loosen pants and take a nap
