First outing of the season.................

Howdy all,

Ok, ok I really didn't get out yet. Catch and release starts here Saturday, but unfortunately I'm working and will have to wait until Sunday. Forecast is partly cloudy and a high of 70 so I'm pumped. I have new line spooled, tackle box replenished, boat cleaned up with the only remaining thing to do is to charge up my battery which I plan on doing tomorrow. Last year was truly my first year of strictly bass fishing and needless to say I was hooked immediately. I've learned alot through the LONG winter by lurking this forum, reading magazines, etc. I think I'm 1000% ahead of where I was last year in regards to knowledge and strategy. I loaded up on lots of new baits that I'll be trying and just can't wait to get on the water. Hopefully, I'll have some pics to post Sunday night when I get home.
