				 | KVD Line and Lure

I am a huge believer of the Vandam Line and Lure conditioner... but a question came to me today. Seeing how it is water based, once your bottle starts to get low, could you just dillute it with more water? Not much, but just adding about 1/4 to 1/2 of a bottle of water to about a 1/2 bottle of Line and Lure? What are your thought on it? Ryan

I just drop my new spools of line in a pot of boiling water for about 20-30 seconds. No more memory problems after that (most of the time) and much cheaper.

Good luck with that. The reason you get no more memory, is you have altered the molecular structure of the line. I can pretty much guarantee you have compromised both the strength and the durability of the line. I'm not saying you won't get away with it, but I wouldn't chance it.

I tried it and wasn't that impressed. It helped a little but not enough to mess with.

It's good stuff, on copolymer anyway. Don't think I'd dilute it though. I figure if it could be effective further diluted, they would have already done it to sell more with less.

I wouldn't dilute it. Like you I am a total believer in it so it is worth the price of a new bottle.
