That sucks, however I know the feeling. My partner and I missed a check this weekend by 3/4 of an ounce.

I lost a tourny by 10 lbs once. I was ticked the scales had to be wrong. I know those 3 15" fish weighed more than 8 pounds.

I have been beat by less than an ounce before and it hurts. One of the big trails I fish (300 boats or more per tournament) had a tournament decided by 1 10th of an ounce last year, and this was $30,000 to win. That is the difference between one guys fish flopping and shaking off one more drop of water than the other guys.

never lost a close one but it would be a tough pill to swallow. none of my wins were that close either. so i guess im either right on or way off.
