tips for fishing curly tail worms
What the the best way to fish curly tail worms?? Iuse trigger x with great success! What methods would u guys use??? I'm ify about using wieghts, what's the. Adavantge of putting weight if there is one

Off the bat it the weight will impart a different action , give you better casting distance , and help get the worm down through some of the thicker vegetation. Also if you are fishing aroud a rocky or gravel bottom it will bang off the rocks making noise which does not hurt either. Weight isn't necessarily an all the time deal but like everything else it has it's time .

I tend to fish curly tail worms weighted and I'm more likely to fish a straight tail worm weightless. A little weight will create a faster fall and will give the curl tail much more action.

If you are fishing deep or in teh wind you need a weight. Around here the prefered method of using curl tails is dragging along gravel banks because they are dotted with old stumps... so you use a weight and drag slowly keeping contact with teh bottom...
