Default help with waverunner

A buddy of mine bought a waverunner about 3 years ago from a guy, it was
winterized and everything but he has not had it out 1 time.
We were wondering if there is anything that needs to be done
before taking it out this weekend.
Change spark plug, drain anything, etc we do not know anything about it.
thanks for any help

take it out into the back yard. set it up on a couple of saw horses. then get a bunch of buddies to come over for some pizza and beer. oh yeah...tell em to bring their shotguns and rifles and six-shooters. then just have fun with the new target. hahahahahaha!

KIDDING FOR REAL MAN!

i would drain the old gas. change the plugs and check the carburator, check ALL the lines. fuel, electrical, etc. fresh gas with seafoam or similier product. fire it up and see what happens. IN THE WATER OF COURSE. do NOT fire it up on dry land.

Just don't forget to stay out of fishermen's ways... I hate people on jet skis when I'm fishing.

If your gas has been sitting around for awhile, add a little Dr. Pepper to the fuel. It'll clean it right up!

On a serious note. I would check the intake. If it has been setting for a while, you may find that it has become home to a creature or two. My neighbor had issues with his seadoo when he didn't see rat nest inside of his.
