Default Skunked, nothing to brag about this weekend

Skunked at nocksamixin and it was ugly

Went out last night on Noxamixin Lake,by Quakerstown PA. We have been there only twice in the day with moderate results
We went from 1130pm to 430 am
Water was almost a constant 82 *
We found them, in several spots.various depths
Threw Jitterbugs
12 inch Manns Black berry
MS Mini Slammer_ this bait has given me some good fish, but its ripping up my arm!
and John was throwing cranks and Black Spinner baits

Nothing, Zilch the big O
Not even a sure bite

great time, but humbled by Nocksamixin

Actually John is one of my closest friends and Fishing partner, he has a wife and 3 small ones, so this much time, fishing together at night was a gift in itself

If they don't have the "Revenge" spinnerbaits up there, then try getting the 1/2oz Strike King Premier in the Black and Red with a single colorado (about #4). Tip it with a Yamamoto 5" twin tail grub in black, cinnamon b/k/fleck, or Plum Blue/fleck, or #11 Uncle Josh Pork Frog in Black and Red, and slow roll that baby around any kind of cover you can find. I believe those fish will surprise you after the sun goes down. When all of the stuff you threw fails to produce I break out the spinner baits and fish them from shallow down to the 10' to 12' on the humps and ridges, vegetation, dock pilings, rocks, riprap. you name it!

+1 on the spinnerbait after the sun goes down man , just tune in to the thumping of the blades and when it feels the slightest bit different set the hook . my avatar fish came in on a black spinnerbait at about 1 am

Thanks Gentlemen but I never throw spinnerbaitsa, not my bag. I am basically a summetime hack fisherman and i do not have to catch every fish there is . I do throw Jitterbugs/jitte sticks and a few more baits that would get a strike from the same fish that would hit a spinnerbait on a given night
John was throwing: Mid Night Specials/Cavitrons and one with a huge black colorodo blade, that he usually slays them with and Nothing!!
