Gettin out on the big pond this week;bluefishing the atlantic

Going home to Brooklyn for a week. I am going to get a couple of shots at some bluefish! Real mindless fishing, chum slick goes out, the skippers at Sheepshead Bay know their stuff and then throw chunks of Bunker at them or silver acme sppons, once the skipper finds them, and draws them in it takes no talent at all, I qualify for that

SORRY FELLAS NO PICS, Part II of family/neighborhood reunion today with morning mass and a big chow down. Then tonight and tomorrow afternoon, out on a party boat. Ealine got me a digital camera, but I dropped it and the LCD screen is ruined, so I am currently without camera.
I went into the bay on Thursday , on a freinds boat we caught a mess of smaller "cocktail blues" on the incoming tidem.
I really mean it when I say the skippers do it all, they put you out onto the "tin can grounds", Put out a chum line and the fish comein riding the tides.Once the skippers get them in, y9ou could trhow as old shoe out and get a bite.

Sounds like it'll be a great time!! Blue fish are a blast when you get into them! The inlets at times are chalk full of the, and you can catch 'em how ever you want! It's really fun on a big chugger too! They jump out of the water on top of it!! It's a real rush, I'm jealous!

Sorry about not having a camera, I know what that's like!

Wow, my arm is near blown out! We were on them hard, the 3 fellas I was fishing with, well we filled up 3 burlap bags. We gave fish out to the whole neighborhood when we got back. The skip took us out on an area known as the Acid waters, , put out a chum slick and IT WAS ON!!!!!!!! I have no idea of the big fish of the day, the ones we caugt were all just at or over the 8 to 10 lb class and I have one more trip tomorrow. Now in the pool and to bed!!!!!!!

Just back from last day on the ocean , now back to PA.Cant wait until Brooklyn is home once again. Went out off Breezy Point , a lot of smaller blues, same amount of fun, now for the 140 mile trek home, NAP FIRST!!!!!!!! Man this was a blast.
