Default Mother Nature is Cruel...

I was watching TV a few minutes ago, and decided to check the weather. So I switched over to PC, and WHOA.....Weatherbug says it's 74 DEGREES!!! So I jump up, run out into the garage to grab a couple of rods, open the garage door, and it starts to rain cats and dogs....

WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?

(Honestly, I should have instantly realized the only reason the temp would have dropped so much would be an incoming T-storm, but hey...a desperate man sees what he wants to see. At least it's good for the lawn...)

Thats a bummer for sure. I'm glad I opted not to go out this morning or I would have been caught on the lake by a strong t storm that rolled through. So I'm going through all my stuff preparing for next sat!

My fishing plans for the day were put on hold due to my wife getting a stomach bug hoping to make up for it one night during the week

Holy crap. I just checked the extended forcast and it's calling for scattered thundershowers for 2 weeks. Right now it's sunny and 90 degrees. I go on vacation the first week of august. Hope I get some good days in. Although I caught my pb right after a storm.

I managed to catch one decent sized green sunfish on a drop shot, between downpours. At least I got the smell of a fish on my hand.

Rain moved through our area, but we didn't get any. But it was amazing how much it cooled down. Went from 90 to 78 and felt great outside with a light breeze.
