Practice and cash tourne

Headed out Tues to check an area to see if the fish were stacked up in the same areas that I had caught them the week before. Sure enough they were there and thick! Caught some nice bass and had to shake off some good fish too. Friend of mine, Li, hit this 2lb bass and then the 5.4 on areas that added to what I had already found. Sweeeeeet!!!!

Got on the water Weds and caught a bunch of 14" fish. Started culling up with better fish and finally finished the night with 13.48 lbs in 3.5 hours of fishing. Nice evening but no kickers which kept us out of the $$ by a pound or so. One nice 4-5 lb fish would have done it!!!

Floating worms, wake baits, super hogs, and pop-r were the baits that caught the keepers and a couple snakeheads (I'm up to 8 so far this year). Grass edges, pads, and cuts or ditches provided the cover for the fish.
