So, you probably Grew up fishing Shenandoah River. I dont know how long it has been since you were here but it has become a great fishery. It's really come back.

Yep. I fished it, and smith creek constantly. I probably spent the most of my real fishing time down on Smith Mountain. My grnadparents had some property on there.

Glad you joined and make yourself at home here.

I have a feeling the only way to fix your user name is to create a new account with your corrected user name.

Welcome aboard buddy! You picked the right site to join as this group of folks is just plain great to be associated with. Feel free to post any pics of your catches or anything else you want to share. Even a few pics of some dinks you caught would help all of us feel "not so alone". hahahaha Know what I mean Bama????

Welcome to the site. There is a handful of members from your area. On top of bcklash and bandit, Chancho is also from your neck of the woods and I believe 3dkicker (Smitty) lives fairly close to you as well.

Welcome to the place to be off the water C-Rigg. I think the only way to change the name, like Woody said, create another account.

c-Rigg-I'm from the Roanoke area, down 81. If you'd like, we could meet someplace in the middle, say Lake Moomaw, and slay a few pigs.

Sounds like a plan. I never did well on Moomaw but we can give it a shot

Good deal, sir. Right now the boat is getting a new water pump and wiring, but when she's sea worthy, I'll pm you. Moomaw fishes real close to a local reservoir near me so I tend to do better there than big water lakes like Kerr, Gaston or Anna... even Smith Mountain. Of course, that statement just guaranteed 7 years of skunks.

Look forward to meeting you.
