It does look interesting, 8 carrier braid that is suppose to have a round profile, to help it get through the guides better. I seen an article with Dean Rojas, he was in on the development and says that the blue/green camo color was specifically designed for frog fishing. Sunline has produced some great line in the past no reason to think this would be any different. I do think I heard them say that it is only available in 60, 70 and 80 lb.

I can't see much difference between Sunline FX2 and Fireline Braid, except the price. Both are 8 strand Dyneema braids...
IMHO the new Sufix 832 is much more interesting. Eight strands, 32 pics per-inch and the Gore-Tex fibre to cushion the weave.

There are a lot of 8 carrier braid to choose from. Fireline Braid, Sufix Performance braid (in tests 40lb+), new Sufix 832, Spiderwire Ultracast, Daiwa Samurai Braid, etc.

Daiwa Samurai braid is a favorite on Tackle Tour. I haven't tried it due to price, but I like Sufix Performance braid. I've got a spool of 832, but haven't gotten a lot of time to use it. Definitely smoother then the Performance Braid in 20-30lb test.

I still want to give Fireline Braid a try too.

Given Sunline's experience in line making, I'm sure it will be a good line.
