Not to be rude, but if you have to ask a question like this, then you are most likly not ready to fish tournaments.you should already have your gear and be used to it. Otherwise u are in for a possible long day on the water.

Anyway, before we can answer that question, you gotta give us more info. Water temp and conditions, area you are fishing, cover/stucture type available, etc.

I'm gonna be fishing a tournament soon also,so I'm gonna be useing what I'm confidant in,a senko. For you my sugestion is also use what your confadint, also BASS have a 48 hour cicle, they will feed one place one day and the next they will be at the other side of the lake, biteing something totally diferant.Like this,Practice day you catch all your fish on a black/blue jig with a black craw trailor, the first hour of your tourney you go to the same spot and you don't catch any, well your wondering why well because the fish are gonna move to the opisite end of the lake biteing something different, you then need to cruze about 5 miles or less miles done the lake throw something totally differant, like a pumpkinseed senko then you will 90% tare them up!

Bill, what are the conditions where you will be fishing-water temp, cover (weeds, flooded timber, etc.) water clarity? Give us a little info like this and we can point you in the right direction.
