If you are going to place your boat for sale on any website and you use a picture please for the love of all things holy would you not use a pic of your boat with the cover on it. What's the point of that???? Just say that it comes with a frickin cover. There are actually ads out there that a covered boat is the only pic on the listing. Duh!!!! There, now I feel better. |

It happens.... However, some people might like to see what the cover looks like - expensive custom cover or a cheap Wal-Mart. However, they should also include pictures of the boat w/out as well. So is it a nice cover? |

Hell yeah, that's almost as bad as a picture of a female escort with CLOTHES ON! You really need to see what you're PAYING FOR!

Probably just a tactic to get someone to buy an unclean boat. Trying to make it seem like it has been covered all the time but it hasn't...

There is probably a reason that it's covered.

I have seen it happen either way... 1) someone with very little common sense not realizing when you sell a boat, people want to see the inside too, and then 2) the others who really are trying to hide something. This why I always ask for recent dated photos (all digital cameras nowadays has the option to add the date/time in the corner) of the rest of the boat (or whatever I am buying) including inside. |

Your 100% correct. And would someone please tell boat salesman at boat stores to display their boats with the compartments open! Sometimes they are closed and locked, and often I can't reach a certain compartment to open it.
