pro quilifer
anybody heard of this kind of REEL because I'm thinkin about buyin one and the rod with it

Are you referring to the Bass Pro shops Pro Qualifier? If so it is a good reel. I prefer the BPS Extreme, but the Pro Qualifier is a good reel.

I think you would be pleased with that reel. Are you looking at purchasing a new one from BPS? If so they just updated them recently so the have a one piece aluminium frame and ITS (or something) breaking system. I think they are a pretty good reel, but now since the updates you can get the Extreme for less.

I've got a pro qualifier light spinning reel. 4-8 lb test and it was a great reel. something got bent though or has just worn out. but it an extremely smooth drag and never had any problems with the bail or spring. Was a great buy at $65.00. can't find anything now that is as smooth for under $120.00
