Re: Best Soft Plastics
Lot's of brands are good. As for the best price and availabilty. Well Zoom is hard to beat for all of the selections, and prices. I like YUM, and Powerbait also, but they don't have the selection Zoom does.

Re: Best Soft Plastics
I think that zoom is one the of the best but it all comes down to how you use your worms to make the fish stirke.

Re: Best Soft Plastics
While I use many different kinds, my favorite are the ones made by The Original Fish Formula.

Re: Best Soft Plastics
I have been using "Cream" worms for years.
But I do use "Gulp" One of my best days fishing this past winter season, I used the black "Gulp" Nightcrawlers in the bottle. Pulled them apart and put the pieces on a number 6 treble ( i think it was a 6, not sure but it was small ) Pulled in some crappies, a nice size cat and what may have been a bass, but lost it before I good get a good look at it. This was in river fishing, night and cold, tide was on the rise. |

I use a worm called chompers. They are made by strike king and have a garlic scent to them. They work great!!!!

Re: Best Soft Plastics
Different brands for different things. Most of my basic soft plastics like soft jerkbaits, worms, lizards, I get from Bitter's line of soft plastics. Plus they make a knock off of the horny toad which sells at half the price. Even though there are several companies which make great senkos, I like the Yum dinger because the notch in it maakes for a much better hookset than with any other senko I've tried. As far as 7.5in worms go, Culprits only. Even though I've got my preferences, I'm always trying new lures and trying to find out what works best for me.
