I hate to break this news
Kevin Oldham passed away lastnight. Much of the bass fishing world learned about Kevin and his fight with cancer when Gerald Swindle brought him into the New Orleans arena in his boat and then took him up on stage while Swindle weighed his fish. Kevins story touched me and it hurts to read about his passing. Please keep Kevins wife and daughters in your prayers.

I saw this earlier today. It is sad to loose someone like him. I'm only glad he got to experience the Classic the way he did. Prayers will go out to his family here.

Kory,
thanks for posting that link. I knew that Kevin had gone to Heaven but I had not read that. It is amazing how one person can touch so many lives in such a short period of time. |
