yessir inddedy......one day i DO hope to have a place RIGHT on the lake. gotta do 12 more years of the grind though to get there. but with any luck, i'll get it. and ya gotta have the grill right next to the water man, how else ya gonna grill dem ribs, shops, chisken, smoke that pork shoulder and boston butt and FISH ifn it ain't RIGHT next to the shore? gotta cook it al FRESH ya know. so's when you come in to shore it is still fuming smoke offn it. mmmmmmmmm.........now see........ya done gone and made me hungry smitty. lol!

Funny thing is that there isn't a dock or house or anything by this stuff. It's just out in the middle of a field of a small cattle farm.

But it would be a sweet place to hang out on a Sat. Get up, fire up the smoker, go out and fish a little, take a nap in the hammock, and then pull out a small table out of the truck and eat some dinner once the food's done.

I like it!!!

If you caught a lot of dinks and watched your wife catch the keepers, then it is Bama's spot for sure.

Didn't fish it. Another boat was working through the area. I just pulled up to take a picture.

I did catch a 2.2lb largemouth on a JnP but couldn't catch any more keepers. Plenty of dinks were biting. Will post a pic soon.

frogman........cool? when did oyu come to bama? lol, kidding man.....referring ot it getting HOT in a short period of time. really cold right now (for us southerners anyway), but warming up REAL quick in a couple of weeks. the downright blazing hot.lol.
