				 |  Bass Tracker motor question 
			
			I have A Bass Tracker. 60hp johnson motor. It will run fine but it will not idle at all. once you pull the throttle down after about 5 seconds it will just cut off anybody know how to fix this

			thottle adjustment screw needs to be moved ne way or another. zooker

			Badbassin, Where your idle is set at, if the throttle linkage is properly set and had not been tinkered with, you may very well have a gasket leak, the carb gasket may be sucking in air but usually it will rev out then die.Have you cleaned the fuel pump screen or changed filter on it lately. How long has this been a problem, meaning has it always been this way since you owned it or it just started after it ran fine before ? P N J

			try changing the filter..if that doesn't work we'll try something else |
