Saturday Report
Today I could use any of following excuses as to why fishing was less than stellar.
1. shoelace broke 2. cat crossed my path 3. barometer rising 4. water temps dropped 6 degrees 5. sunny day 6. too many boats Well we did get about 9 cats up to 18 lbs and a big eel. So no excuses just a tough day. Capt Mike

I had to work today. I'd be happy to trade with you, my day for yours.

Any bananas? Someone once told me bananas on the boat was bad luck.

The Major had a tough day down in Aquia too. We caught them here and there (I'll post some pics on another thread). We had outgoing tide all day long!!! Winds from the west had water flowing out of Quantico creek at 8 AM and continued until we left around 2 PM and we ran into Chickamuxen and still had outgoing tide until close to 5 PM!!! Made for a challenging day but I think I've got them figured out....the bass that is. Best of luck on the kitties.
