Did that, non-resident are high. 10 day with trout is $50.00. Don't forget to take a peak at the regulations on size limits - most notable is the slot on smallies. But I think I'll be getting the trout permit, so I can spend a day trolling around with NFE. Those trout he brought down to Wheeler were tasty, wouldn't mind catching a few trout for dinner.
AND DONALD, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS? Quote:

Smallies are one over, and one under the slot, 16-21 inches. So you could keep a 12 incher and a 22 incher. Bag limit on bass is 5 per day, with only two being Smallmouth, the rest Largemouth or spots. Again, possession is 2x, I think. We'll verify it all before the event. The slot on Smallies is crazy, but it seems to be working magic. I hear from a lot of guys who fish Dale that they release tons of 20 inch, 4-5 lb Smallies. The real question is, will it produce a 12 lb'er? Only time will tell. Quote:

I can vouch for the success of the slot on DH and the 18" limit for smallmouth in TN. I used to be against the large limit but, 5 years ago we were catching few fish over 18 inches, but this past year we saw several limits of them. No huge fish yet but it's only a matter of time.
