Default Plug Knocker pays for itself. Â*Again.

Thanks to a plug knocker today I saved myself several lost crankbaits and as a result the replacement costs of the cranks. If you throw crankbaits I highly recommend either buying or making yourself one. I made mine out of a surf sinker:



I cut off 3 ot the tines, bent one like a hairpin to put over the line, and in the loop in the end attached a swivel for a line to an old reel so I can reel it back in and a snap swivel to clip over the line, then just drop it down to the bait and bang it free. Here is the finished setup:

Cheap, easy to make, and a real money saver!
