Rest-a-While Nursing Home

I don't know if it's a southern thing or not but in our family it is considered bad form even taboo to put an aged loved one in a nursing home. As a child 2 of my grandparents came to live with us until they died. Anyway I remember that to combat the negative stigma of just dumping off Granny at a place to die one of the local nursing homes changed their name to "Rest A While" We used to laugh at this weak marketing ploy....."well gdaddy I know your 85 and have chronic COPD but all you really need is to rest awhile the guys down at the plant said that as soon as you're feelin better they'd love to have you back drivin that forklift"

ps not meant to offend....I have great respect for the compassionate people who work in extended care facilities and hospice. I just thought the name was funny.
