It's been a while...
Since the monkey got me good. I was able to resist on my recent trip to Cabela's and came out of the store with only a couple packs of hooks.
Then those Fuego spinning reels went on sale on TW and I just couldn't resist anymore. Now he wants a new dropshot rod. Dobyns DX702SF here I come! BB

Those reels would look sick on a Berkley Cherrywood.

While the Tech Spec is a very nice rod, well balanced, sensitive and good components for the money, I don't know if it holds twice the value of the Cherrywood.

C'mon yall...you know good and dang well those reels were designed and balanced to be the perfect companion for an Ugly Stick....the oft stated Americas Strongest Most Sensitive Rod!

While the Ugly Stick is an option, often the tip is too soft for some applications.
