				 | Minn-Kota 80lb TM prop/blade nut

Would you use a prop nut that you can tighten/remove by hand, or should we use a nut you have to use a wrench on, for a 80lb Minn-Kota? I'm asked, because my dealer, said it might not be a good ideal to use one on this big of a TM. Thanks folks!

I also have an 80lb MK. The nut tightens opposite the shaft rotation. I haven't seen any signs of mine loosening.

Harold, I have to ask...do you hate your Avalanche's battery compartment as much as I do?

I have no problem with mine, why may I ask? The only thing I dislike are the livewells not draining all the way. I went and bought me a siphon pump to get the last 2" of water out of them. |
