So, anyone use, hear, buy, think it's dumb, couldn't care less, or any other input? Check out the photo gallery. And you 'old timers' will love the, in the Media article. You young buck's may want to read it too. ![]() The concept is GREAT but not being a die hard cranker I thought maybe some of you cranksters may have more real input. I was also thinking that a friend of mine down the 'Florida way' may have something to say about this. ![]() This is actually one of my finds that I'm seriously thinking about maybe giving a try. It may fill the time until someone comes out with an Alabama rig with a Hydrowave chip installed in it next to the camera chip. ![]() So what do you think?

To me it just looks like another gimmick. It's not a bad idea though!

If it gives you more confidence then go for it. Personally I just don't see where it would be much different than red hooks which I personally am not a believer in. The idea of the red plastic hanging off the sides of the bait seems gimmicky to me.

I'm not a believer in red hooks either but if I were, I think this would be just as good. Like Kory said, if it made you more confident in a bait, I don't see how it could hurt anything.

Well Joe They say it will still run true (hard enough to keep them true as it is so I don't know) They say it won't foul over a hook or the line (but mine do it without any help as it is) Finally I don't buy the whole "bleeding bait" thing anyway. I have been highlighting the factory red gills on Original Floating Rapalas since the 70's and Shad Raps since the 80's. Thats GILLS.....I don't think one out of a million baitfish swim around actually bleeding. But Hey I suppose If you think It'll help then it prob will. Just like Castanza told Jerry "It's not a lie if YOU believe it"

IMO, if it smells a little like a gimmick, it probably is! ![]()

Cause my crankbaits need a mustache.
Just tye on some red yarn......It'll flow more natural on a pause:P But Joe seriously give it a try if the idea appeals to you.....We all have skeletons in our tackle closet.
