Default Goodbye Madcap Ginger Snap

Ginger was our 15 year old yellow lab. Around noon today we said goodbye as she went to sleep. She was my bestest girl and the sweetest creature I've ever known. We loved her so very much. As most of you know, it's hard to lose a best friend (more like a child than dog) like her.

Take heart, Abbey. If she made it to 15, I'm sure she had one heck of a good life, and she knew it.

She loved you guys just as much as you loved her. She will always have a special place in your heart. My deepest condolences.

Thanks guys.

She didn't hunt, but her father was a state champion and she had a brain between her ears. I think we gave her a really good life and she loved us as much as we loved her. The end is always hard.

Take peace in knowing you provided a good life for her, it is never easy to say goodbye to a loved companion. My deepest sympathy.

My condolences. I know how much it hurts. We've been through it with 2 pets so far. Words just aren't worth much at this point.

Deepest sympathies. No words give you comfort but before you know it your wonderful memories of her will bring smiles instead of pain. My sister and my best friend have both had to have their labs put down this spring and both were just days away from their 14th birthday. Tears were shed by us all.

My heart goes out to you, I had to make that decision a couple moths ago with my 16 year old black lab. Dogs become part of our family and it hurts bad when they aren't with us any longer.
