I Got the black max for my birthday and a gift card , so i could just return the black max and get the combo with the gift card or get the orra sx which is also on sale:confused (just Reel) and im having trouble deciding

Do you currently own a rod you could put the Orra on if that is the route you decide to go?

My advice is the same that has been given many times here, buy the best equipment that your budget allows.

Yes, the orra is a better reel than the black max, but then the revo S is a better reel than the Orra, then etc, etc, etc.

Only you can decide the answer to your question, but if you are asking advice, get the best stuff you can for your budget, but don't spend it all on one thing. A reel is no good without a decent rod, line and baits and then you still need to afford to actually go fishing. unless you are just a collector of equipment.
