Sold the yamaha outboard ,had money to burn back into monkey business.Had tought id go lowrance but everyone wanted more for their used hds7 than what they cost new 865 tyd with the normal puck then needing 500 dollars worth of add ons just not worth it.The non touch is discounted so much now due to old discontinued model that it is available still new for what most want for used.So that ended that bought a bird with a new 180 ducer, mount and wiring for considerably less.
So placed the ducer where old one was it read to 52 mph, also have in dash flasher so no loss as to depth guessing. And the 798 while in sf mode wont read above say 8 mph in rts should read fine, all to find out soon, when all tested. [IMG] ![]() After taking screen shots the 755c will be removed, and will compare the humminbird view, vision and 798hd ci si. Last edited by lilmule; 08-04-13 at 08:51 AM. |
