Default Flukes??

I've never heard anyone on this forum talk about flukes. I catch a load of bass from 0-4 lbs on them and am wondering what other people think about them.

I use them and love them. They work really good on the ponds I fish with a fast retrieve.

I fish them here and there but they are not my favorite and neither are Senkos because they take too long to fish and get down to them in deeper than 6 feet of water.

I think Super Flukes are great, but I probably use your username even more (Bass Assassins).

One of the great all around baits. It works well deadsticking it, or twitching it at the top of the water. I haven't been using them latley, but have vowed to keep them tied on at least one rod everytime out.

Liz, I don't know what your line of work is, but can I assume that you're not a herpetologist?

Last year I was slaying them on flukes all the time. I've found myself fishing a bit muddier ponds recently, so there really isn't a use for them. If you can't see the lure 18" into the water, don't use a fluke.
