Default bass pro shop products

does anyone use bass pro shop products much. i have a few (well a lot) of their lures only ever caught something off of their plug. but their one pro qualifier reel looks nice and sounds nice but they are words id hate to blow $200 for something im not gonna like. i was just wondering if anyone uses their rods and reels much or if they are junk.

I have their mega tournoment combo. I think it was worth my $60, I like the reel, very smooth and tough. The rod was good too, sensitive, but the tip broke of because one of my little cousins stepped on it or something at the lake( wasnt because of fishing wear).

I don't like the hump handle they have on all their casting rods but I love the Extreme reels-they are all I use, and I have quite a few of them. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good quality reel. Several of the other guys here have bought them on my recommendation and have been real pleased with them.

As far as their lures I have caught fish on their Stick-O-their version of the Senko, their cranks and spinnerbaits. They make a good quality product.

Love em. $200.00 bucks, what are you trying to buy? You can get most rod/reel combos between 89.-99.00 at BPS. Most of my rods are 7' extreme rods, they start at 90-100.00 each. I buy them w/ a reel for 98.00 combo priced. I now own 5 rod/reel combos from BPS.

The extremes will last about 7 months if you fish everyday. I have worn two in three years. I liked them while I had them though.
