Default Top 10 ways a million dollars would help me catch more fish...

On the way home from the lake, I was thinking about all the stuff I've bought over the years and all the stuff I wish I had money for cause it would actually help me catch more fish, so I decided to make a list of all the stuff that I would get if I were already financially independent.

10. VMC or Daichi hooks for every lure I own. I still find myself all the time throwing plugs with rusted old factory hooks on them, and I've been wanting to change all the hooks to premiums, but it would cost too much.

9. A depthfinder that has good resolution. My wide W, now that its fixed, does show the correct depth, but the pixel count is so dismal it is impossible to interpret anything other than the bottom - can't tell the difference between shad, bass and grass.

8. GPS. If I had a million dollars and were hypothetically learning to fish by the graph, a GPS would be essential. In my current incarnation as a most of the time bank-beater, it would merely be handy.

7. A larger boat. I don't think I want to go to fiberglass, too finicky, but I would love one of those new high performance aluminum boats that get close to the performance of fiberglass. Ironically, the brand thats caught my eyes more than any other is "war eagle" boats. They really, really need to change their name.

6. A bowmount foot operated trolling motor. Had I actually held off on replacing my trolling motor last year, this would have been within financial reach - but I'm not gonna scrap a year old tiller style motor just like that.

5. Replace all my rods with kilsters and allstars. Right now I could afford to do this (it would fleece my account, but I do have the cash). The only reason why I wont is my small boat has no rod locker and I'm sure I'd break a couple eventually.

4. At least 2 more good baitcasting reels to fill the gap between my garcia morrum 1600 sx and 5600m. I have the smallest and second largest morrum reels already, but I need something in between to bridge the gap. I am watching ebay in hopes of seeing a 3600 below 150$.

3. Enough money to throw away on all the new hot lures, such as the sweet beavers and kermit frogs. Actually I bought a few of each today at a chevron that has one of the best tackle sections I've ever seen for a gas station. Its located on 72 just west of athens for the bama boys on here.

2. A 2005 Ford F150. Ok, I'm just greedy there.

1. A vacation home on guntersville, pickwick or kissimmee. Boy could I make good use of that!

The number 1 reason it would help, is cause you wouldn't have to work everyday, so you could fish more.
