Default is there a way?

is there a way you can tell the if a largemouth bass if male or female?

Not that I know of. A biologist might be able to, but the best bet for us fishermen is that a female is usually bigger than a male. Otherwise there isn't a way to tell.

I think I read it somewhere, and I am not kidding, a male will sometimes pee when you handle it.

normally the larger fish any thing over 3 pounds will be female. and the size of the head in smaller fish. think bassnman30 answered this question 6 months ago or so..
