				 | Rhino Rods

Can someone recommend a good rod from Wal-mart that I don't have to spend alot of money to buy? I have broke two of the Rhino rods. This morning I caught a little 2 pounder and the Rhino rod broke about 4-5 inches from the end. I want a medium-heavy 6 to 6 1/2 feet. I'll be using the Rhino reel RSC 3 on the rod, unless any better suggestions. Thank- You and Happy fishing

well, if you can pay about $45 you can get a real nice rod, its the shakespeare ugly stik. they are really tough, and you get a lifetime warrantee, but they dont break much.

Thanks to you all for the help. I'll probably go with the Berkley Lighting rod. I can't imagine spending all that money on a Fenwick, maybe in the future I'll get one as a gift.

I used that Shakespheare rod. I loved the action and feel. Unfortunatly I broke it. I also have a lightning rod. Got both from wally world. I like one piece better than 2 piece. I do recommend the lightning rod. Nothing wrong with fenwicks either. Bob

Hi guys, I work for a sporting goods store in jersey, hunt fish camp dept. I sell a lot of rods and have seen a lot of the Berkley lightning rods, rhino rods, ugly sticks (the new ones) come back in broken. One guy must eat the ugly sticks, he came back 3 times. One of the best rods I have seen is the Shimano SOJOURN series. They go from micro ultra light up to salt water size. I have the ultra light, 2 six footers, med. 2 7 foot med heavy. They come one or two pieces. And the best part is the price. They are only 19.99 at Sports Authority in jersey. Not sure if Wally world carries them. These rods are light but still send the bumps and tugs to the handle. They come in combos for around 40 dollars. If anyone wants more information about prices and what is in stock email or im me. Hope this helps
