New Lure I Am Painting
I am going to paint another off brand popper just to see if it works. Now up here, the forage is frogs and bluegills, but mostly bluegills. I am going to paint a bluegill colorerd popper. I am going blue/green stripes w/ occasional black, and an orange any yellow stomach. I will post a pic when I am done.

Here in west Kentucky a good color for small top water baits is a glow orange back with a chartreuse belly. The 3.0 inch Original Rapala top water minnow is a killer bait in this color combination. Maybe you can try that color.....im thinking it may represent a natural dragon-fly color.
