				 | My Lunker Today!

Man I got the biggest or second biggest bass ever today on a small public lake on a dropshot. Thing was over 25 inches cause I measured it with my rod. I think it was almost 9 pounds. I got him on a 6 inch dropshotted Robo worm off a point. THIs thing was huge. Eyes where almost like half dollars. I could put both fists in its mouth and everything. I got him off a grassy point in about 15 feet of water. I managed to catch 4 other small bass of the point. after the big one I camped out on that point all day long. This is a huge fish for MO. I think the state record is about 13lbs. Man I am so jacked right now. Dang. I was shaking like a leaf. I have caught plenty of nice fish but this thing was awesome. This is going to fire me up for next year.

I wish I had gotten a picture but I was all by myself without a camera. Dammit. Reb could have put it up if I had. I didn't have a phone and I would have had to tie him up for a couple of hours or something and I didn't want to kill it.

Good job fishie. I know the feeling all to well. When fishin a tourney in Mo. on the rock I caught a spot that was 6lbs. 13oz several years ago in 35ft of water. Man I was besides myself the whole night knowing the Mo record wasnt that faraway. A accomplishemnt like you did always will stay with you and make you fish harder and harder knowing that you yourself could break a record. Keep up the good work.

Dang I think the record is 7lbs or something for spots. I got the fish from the bank also so it was quite the accomplishment. Dang if I had only the camera. S%%T D$mn.

Went out the other day and tried another lake and I got one 2lber on a droshot. Half the lake was frozen over. Wish I could have fished the one where I got the PB again. Maybe today?
