Hey Thanks KH

I like that giving up song..it rocks..as You may or may not know I have a huge music collection..its all kinds of rock tho, and I know many on here are into dif stuff or country, I have no problem with that, I know the majority dont follow my style of rock, but Alcus Hudson sounds great and nice demo cd..may have to get it, they sound like a few bands of days gone by to me..pretty cool.sounds like Puddle of Mud doesn't it...

I listened to most of erosion and giving up. I noticed they mentioned a Cure influence and for some reason I could hear a bit of the Cure in erosion especially, like a heavier version of disintergrationor something. I'll give him a thumbs up, much better than puddle of mud, seether or that crap - but he should be careful to avoid getting too generic like those bands.

I dunno, I like punk rock. Not Green Day, Blink 182, or The Offspring.
Real punk. Bad Religion, Subhumans, NOFX, The Ramones, The Vandals, The Dead Milkmen, GG Allin and the Murder Junkies, Beautiful Bert and the Luscious Ones, 10-96, Pistofficer, Crass, Anti-flag, etc. You guys have probably never heard of these bands. I'm just cynical to other "rock".

Krueger, I know what you mean. I like Greenday and the Offspring, but I can remember back to when punk was outside the corporate rock fold. Now its very, very generic and marketed as I've said. You and PnJ might like some of the same bands though, I'm no purist like you guys, I just listen to the pixies, sex pistols, sonic youth and dinosaur jr from time to time.

you shoulda been around in 76-78 when the punk scene was going full throttle.had some really good bands around back then....pistols,999,dead boys,stranglers,yes,ramones..saw them 33 times(now have severe tinnitis).....i really miss that stuff.the music today is BS.
