back from vacation

I got home friday from vacation at my cabin. Caught some bass each day. Best were 2 - 4lbers. Best day I caught about 12. Most were 12 to 15 inches. I also broke 2 rods. One trying to flip a bass into the boat. The rod was a cheap shakespear IMx 7 I got at wally world for 7 bucks. The second was an all star spinning rod. I snagged a lilly pad with a spinner bait and when I tried to retrieve it the wind blew the boat over top of the pad and snap went the rod. I also caught my first bass slow rolling a spinner bait. Most of the fish came around the pads. I also did some shore fishing. What a mistake that was. I was in shorts and got some poisoin ivy or oak all over both legs. Oh the itching is driving me nuts. Also the fun didn't stop there. On the way home just about a block from my house I lost a wheel off the boat trailer. Thank heaven it didn't happen on the interstate. From now on I'll check them lugnuts before every trip. Well back to work tomorrow. Good fishing to all.

Still on vacation thanx to high school but u don't get payed going to high school ;D it's all gravy in the navy.
But that story was cool, i feel u on the poison ivy though, I've seen my fishin buddy (G-pops) get soaked and oaked was red. But me, my yellow skin (lol) doesn't allow me ta get the rash, thank God. So far my vacation's been allight with fish. Tommorow me and my G-pops are gonna go scramble hiking ta Scotchman 2 in the mountains of Montanna there's a hidden lake there with a sh!t load of fish. I chopped up a snake last year and used it there since my night crawlers got toasted and the container was full of worm juice instead of worms. ;D It was fun, there's alot of fish in there but it's like a 6~8 mile miserable hike up there, it feels like a WWII marine invading Sai Pan, it's like a jungle. But I'll let you know about my fishing vaccation.
