I like the looks of the waterstriders Tom posted, but in general I wasn't as happy with my U-boat as I'd thought I'd be. Its really slower to get around than youd think and you're so incredibly low that it just changes everything.

cranky, no it is a belly boat, that is the shape of a U. They are also known as float tubes. They range from 45 dollars to the more expensive pontoon style boats around 500 dollars.

Well U-boats were WWII subs - you need to know about those for school. As PB said this U-boat was a U shaped float tube.

cranky, pay attention to current events, hitler will be peanuts when the islamic world gets the atomic bomb ready for delivery. history is only a learning point, it is said, if we don't learn from history, then surely, we will repeat it. believe it or not, history is right now and the war is on.

well, i think hitler influenced america by letting japan atack pearl harbor, which made the manhattan project which started the first nuke. without WW2, iraq probably would be very different

Iraq is messed up in part because of WWI and the partitioning of the land following that war and the end of the ottoman empire. The british and french tried to make a state out of 3 nations and a thousand clans and it hasn't worked well at times. Not that it was going along terribly well before that though. Crankybait, the US was one of many countries working on the atomic bomb. Had we not been the first, some other country would have been.

bassintom, chill. im just startin to learn this stuff. and never blamed it on america, i blamed it on hitler. after all, america wasnt in WW2 at the begining until pearl harbor. americas a great place, and i got pride in that. and also, iran' claims that theyre working on energy from nuclear power is totaly false... i say theres going to be another fight.

iraq-consider this: president bush invaded iraq because his advisors said sadam had weapons of mass destruction. fact: no weapons of mass destruction were found, although sadam had a lifetime to move them, possibly to iran. with the first part of the program failing/failed, the president went on to democratize the iraqis and rebuild the country. the country is islamic, made of many factions, sunnis, ****es, kurds, baath religions, so the focal point went from wmd to rebuild an islamic country at a staggering cost of over 400 billion dollars and over 2200 american soldiers dead and still counting dollars and dead soldiers. worse of all no end in sight. is iraq our fault? the bible predicts that the bear will come out of the east? and what country is to the east of iraq? the middle east has oil and that is what the united states and other countries are trying so desperately to keep flowing. if it wasnt for that, we would have no interest over there. bottom line, americans are interfering in the soverignity of the middle east countries, their culture and way of life and their religion. i am an american, and proud of it. i am a veteran. just look at the big picture of world events. there can be no peace in the middle east until the infidol is gone. well, we are not leaving and we are not wanted over there. |
