Looks like a flippin stick with a weighted handle. What they don't make Bud Pruit series that is already weighted properly . Can't see the reel I'm guessing a Shimano Castaic with a flippin switch ;D When you gonna stop catching the bait and start catching the Hawgs LMAO Nice fish PNJ.

LMAO. ;D ;D ;D Lizards, That wieghted handle flipping stick is an original Castaway Bud Pruitt flipping stick. Nothing has been done to it except put an old Daiwa TD-1 reel with 30lb Tuf-Line braid and tied a 1/2 oz. jig and Gene Larew salt craw trailer & went fishing with it. ;D That is why I love the Bud pruitt flipping sticks, the rod looks custom built and fishes better than any other flipping stick I have ever used.If I were to own a Shimano, you did choose the right reel. I would have any problem with the Castaic reel, just the price of it is a little steep. They don't make the old Daiwa TD-1 reels anymore, but ebay has alot of them surfacing even after they Haven't made them in quite a few years.I think its been about 8 years since they discontinued them for the new TD-X & TD-S line of reels. The Bud pruitt fliiping stick was $99.00, now this year they are $109.00. It still is a reasonable price for a great flipping stick. P N J

Lizards, I found them cheaper priced than where I buy them through, I never bought anything from this company though. P N J Â* http://www.allkindsofgiftsonline.com..._-_Bud_Pruitt/

Lizards, This is where I have been buying tackle from. They might be a bit more ,but they have hard to find things that you don't find too often. In the new 2005 catalog they carry the Bamboo sticks, that I can not ever find in my area. P N J http://www.nbswebstore.com/cgi-bin/w...RAPHITE%20RODS

JB, That is a site Bass fishing girl found a few years ago for us to chat at.She is married ,but not to me. ;D Zooker, If you came home once and a while you could still fish there. I had a tournament there last weekend,my partner and I boated over 60 bass but nothing big enough, we placed 8th.My partner put a whupping on me early in the tournament, he had me by a dozen bass fishing a mini carolina rig 3/8 oz weight, 1 foot leader with a zoom cotton candy centipede. As the wind came up so did the fish and the Bamboo stick I switched to started catching alot of fish in a hurry.I was boating a 4 to 1 ratio over his Yamamoto senko's. I think the fatter bait works better at times.P N J
