gorgeous day on the lake
well my fishing partner and i hit the water with great expectations on saturday....reports of the winds being light and variable did it....even though my compradre didn't have faith that it would hold....well indeed it did....and what a day we had....he kicked my bassin butt for sure...but it was such a great day beautiful sunny, 73 and the water was clear to stained....my partner brought out a floating worm that seemed to drive the bass nutz....so the fishin was on.....he ended up catching 19 ...and the grasshopper here got 7....it was awsome....too bad you guys in the cold weren't there....hope everyone did get a chance to go fishing...and that you did well....

Weather was windy as all heck here. Then the cold front blew threw. Glad to see someone hitting nice weather and catching fish. Hopefully throw a few pics w/ some big Fl hawgs next week. Got a few secret weapons going out to the Stick Marsh w/ me.

that's great there flfireman....i would love to have a shot at those fla. hawgs sometime myself....but as you know....everythings bigger in texas....so we have our share here too...i was just so glad not to be fighting wind for a change that it didn't matter what size the fish were to me....as long as i got some.....lol.....i'll look forward to seeing those pics though.....good luck....

Looks like you had a great day. Nothing beats a bass fighting on the end of your line does it lady?? Nice fish.

What lake is that? I read somewhere some time ago you fish Fayette quite a bit. Is that is? If so I may need to drag down there. Looks like good fishing.
