You Be The Judge
Saturday, bassintxlady and I caught some nice toads at Huntsville State Park here near Houston. The day was topped off with one really nice large bass. My experience tells me this bass would have topped a certified scale at close to 12lbs. Look at the pics here and tell me what you think. We did have a little Berkley scale and we tried to weigh the toad on it, but after a few error messages, the scale reported 9.5 pounds. What do you all think she could have weighed? We had no tape to take measurements, but I would say she/he was about 25 inche's long and maybe 22 around.

25"L X 22"G would be 11.46lbs by the fish calculator. It's a very nice Hawg that's for sure. Why don't you have a tape on the boat? The digital scales never seem to work. And I just measure everything and input the measurements into the fish calculator. Anyways, keep catching those kinda fish, and post them on the Big Bass weigh in thread, both pics are just beautiful, congratulations on the BIG @SS BASS.

I'll check into a web site where I can post large quanities of pics without too much cost or hassel. There where 4 other nice fish caught out there too, there where two 3's, a 5, & a 6 pounder too...... If any of you know of a free site for posting pics, please share the URL with me. Again, Thanks for all the compliments, and Good Luck on the water guys/gurls..... |

Texas vs Florida, that might have to happen. We should keep track on the fishing tourneys what state or region is catching what. Do hate to rub this in, but Lizards 3-4 fish are keeping us up pretty good right now. Sorry, didnt want to hijack the thread. Nice hawgs, got me beat so far this year.
