Default some sad news...

hey guys. just needed to get this outta me. today my grandma died in her sleep. she's in india, my dad and uncle are flying there tomorrow. i just feel so bad, needed to do something. i loved her so much. she was always nice to me and when my dad yelled at me, she'd always back me up. diabeties killed her... when i grow up im going to have to cure that. my dad has it too, i probably do as well... hopefully not. and i promised her i would show her a nice big fish. she has never seen me fishing. when i catch a fish, itll be her fish. im not giving up

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast, then I most humbly pray,
When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm finally asleep,
That in his mercy I may be judged for "Grand Ma" being a trophy big enough to keep.... Sorrry Cranky! Hang in there little Buddy.

Cranky,

Sorry to hear about your loss. Grandmas are very very special people! I was your age 13-14 when i lost my grandma. I know how ya feel. 2 yrs later I lost grandpa. Its tough but it helps to know that they are in a better place. I also like to think that they are watching/protecting me from where ever they are. Just because she isnt here on earth doesnt mean she isnt always going to be with you......

Cranky,
I lost my grandmother in march or early april. I know how it feels. Bad thing for me was, I hadnt talked to her in 2 years, due to a family argument. Just remember the good times you had with her, and that will help some. And remember to be their for your family to help them with the coping of the loss.

Little Buddy, Your Grandma is smiling at this moment knowing her grandson really cares for her. And if you do or do not catch that bass for her today, I don’t think she will mind. You seem like such a nice young man, and I know your Gran ma was proud to have a grandson such as you. You just keep on the way you’re going, and what ever you do, don’t change directions. You may catch the worlds record bass, but I believe there is something greater than that out there for you. Tha C Man and tha red headed Polly Ann send you and your family our condolences.

Very sorry to hear that cranky. I lost my grandma last year after she struggled with emphysema. She was never beat, she was kicking, screaming, and being herself up till the end. My condolences to you and your family, and I have to agree, she is no longer suffering.
