Dawn ride + pictures

Only LANDED one fish, but still got some neat pictures.

I got outside about 3:50 am and heard coyotes... eek. Also the whippoorwill was making noise. So I guess it was still rather dark out, but...

FEAR THE CRACK... OF DAWN!
Taken about 3:45 am.

AAHH BEAVER! Came right up near me and did the tail-slap... kind of startled me.

Also saw a deer but couldn't get a picture in time.

THERE BE LARRY

This isn't the dam the beaver was near, this is a much newer one that I'mve yet to see any actual beavers around. I made some cast in here and had a strike, but no hookset.

I think because the bass are mostly guarding beds... so they just move the lure.

Very early... no contacts in... mosquitoes around... I'm in armor.

See that spring where the water forms a point? Usually a nice place for a hit... but not today!

Weeds I was fishing. Hhmm very still water.

That is a road. I heard one vehicle go by the entire time.

The sun peeks over this hill... (I was no longer on the water but in my backyard)

THERE IT IS

Well there, I took care of my desire to post annoying pictures and make an annoying post too.

This is just a picture of me in general... looking confused. Yes, that is my Superbowl XXXIV t-shirt. ^_^

Lots of fun I had today on the water. Woohoo!

Yes, I am into photography.
Yes, the area turned green a couple weeks ago when the clouds broke and we had some extended sun.
Yes, it looks great in the fall.

You gotta watch them beavers lone...I was wading the local smallie stream about 3 weeks ago and there was one in the water that was huge and not afraid of me in the least, started slapping the water and carrying on in all sorts of different manners. Crazy sight indeed.
