LMAO!! I really do have one. Anyone know anyone that would possibly want it give me a holler. Yes it runs and runs VERY well. It could use a new water pump impellar and a carb rebuild. The carb leaks when running at full throttle. I just want to get rid of it and dont want to throw it away. I'll take$25 plus shipping if anyone wants it.

Laser, I had alot of Scott Atwater motors over the years. I had a 5 1/2 hp Scott Atwater outboard that had a bilge pump siphon hose that ran down in the back of the boat, in case your boat leaked at little, as the motor ran it would pump the water out of your boat.I had an old Neptune(direct drive) , Sea Horse (12 hp direct drive ),Champion(direct drive), Westbend, Elgin motors as well. They worked well, but didn't see alot of them around, They were old when I was a kid, why I could afford to buy them.

Cranky I wouldnt put this motor on a canoe It weighs a tone j/k it would be more suited to a john boat of at least 14 ft in length. I am selling cause I am moving the family and where I am gonna stay I have no place for it.

Cranky, look in the Sunday paper classifieds-that seems to be when most boat ads run.
