				 | fed up with Fed Ex

I ordered a few Mepps Musky Killers and a 1 peice 8'MH solid E-glass rod, from the local tackle shop.It came today delivered by Fed EX.The rod carton was crushed .The rod was busted. They suck, if anyone else did their job like that, they wouldn't have a job for very long. The delivery guy said it was due to improper packaging, not Fed Ex's fault. I am pretty sure the company he orders from would not send a rod packaged and crushed where a section of the container and rod was missing from its original package ?I about lost my temper when the driver was not going to accept return delivery due to being damaged on arrival. He might of had trouble getting back in his van with the remaining rod peices kicked up his @ss sideways ? P n' J, I have had the same problem with them on several orders. One time I ordered 1000 .45 bullets for reloading and received 553 in a torn up, busted, taped up box. I contacted the company I ordered from and they put in a claim with Fed-UP and re-shipped the order, double boxed as per my instructions. This time both boxes were busted open and re-taped and were only short 127 bullets. Since they did not pick up the previous order, I did not report the second screw up as I was "bullets ahead" On the other side of the shipping coin, I refuse to do business with "OOPS" since they jumped on Clintons anti gun band wagon and started charging outlandish prices to ship handguns anywhere to have work done on them or for repairs. I have left notice with BPS and Cabelas to only ship via United States Postal Service. I have not had any complaints on any packages, and they are usually 2 or 3 days faster than "the other guys." This includes rods as well as rod blanks. JackL
