			Ya, because we have winter up here and the fish are under the ice half the year the cold water stunts there growth so an 8 to 10 pound up here would be a 12 to 14 down say in Florida. And the crank bait question with all the cabbage spinner baits are the only lure to slice through with out getting hung up.

			nice fish dude.when i vactioned in canada we found the fish were fatter for the same length up there also.a 17 inch bass weighed 3.5 lbs where a 18.5 inch bass weighed 3.5 here in ny.
