well pete and figured we would go out and kick some butt tonight.it didn't work that way as we only got 5 fish between us.the night started out clear and beautifull with no clouds.approx. 20 mins into our trip i said to pete that "those clouds look like rain".we rowed back and got pete's rain gear.about 5 mins later all hell broke loose for about 15 mins.then it drizzled on and off all night.we wound up fishing from 6 to 10 pm.i caught my fish on a rattlin rapala in 1/2 oz. shad pattern.the way it hit you would have thought this would be the pattern for the night.then the way it jumped pete thought it was a smallie.the fight was great also with plenty of rod bending.pete caught his fish on a couple of different lures.he also had big fish at 3 lbs. 3 oz..
